Important information about overseas debit and ATM card usage.
Effective December 18, 2009
Due to a recent increase in fraudulent debit card transactions from Brazil and Great Britain, Mayflower Bank will now only allow PIN based transactions from these countries. No signature based transactions will be processed.
Also keep in mind that we block all card transactions from the following countries:
Czech
Republic
Kuwait
Nigeria
Pakistan
Philippines
Romania
Slovak Republic
Vietnam
If you notice unauthorized or fraudulent Debit or ATM transactions on your accounts, please call the Bank immediately at (508) 947-4343. In the event that you become aware of transactions after Bank business hours or during the weekend, please call (800) 264-5578, or if you are outside the United
States, call collect at (701) 461-0621.
Beware Fraudulent Cell Phone Text Messages

Mayflower Bank has learned that certain of its customers have received cell phone text messages asking them to call an 800 number to verify ATM /Debit Card information. Although these messages do not specify that they are from Mayflower Bank, customers should be aware that Mayflower does not send unsolicited messages of any kind (phone, email, or text) to its customers in an effort to collect or verify information, nor does the Bank collect or retain cell phone numbers of its customers. If you receive a message as described above, please do not call the number or provide any type of information.
If you receive an electronic or voice message of any kind purporting to be from Mayflower Bank, please report or forward the message by sending an email to report_abuse@mayflowerbank.com.
